Hey guys,
It's been a little while since I posted but I thought I should put this out there.
This is an original tune that I wrote some years ago but only got to recording a half decent demo of it today. The story was heavily influenced by the film Perdita Durango which was a truly messed up film which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I should probably mention that there are some adult themes present in this particular recording.

Groovaious. Reminds something the 'Swampers' down in Muscle Shoals would do. Cool vocal.

Thanks for all your kind words guys, I was pretty pleased with how this one turned out.
I've moved back to recording direct to my computer after solving some horrible latency issues with Ableton Live 8.
I've had BFD2 set up on my pc for a while now and it's a god damned pleasure to go back to the sound of realistic drums.
I have enjoyed recording on the BR800 but I hated the drum sounds and the lack of editing capabilities.
All the guitars on this were recorded using a cracked version of guitar rig 5 and I did the organ part using a cracked version of NI B4. I had to manually enter the keys part as I can't play the keyboard for shit which is why it sounds so stiff and is buried fairly low in the mix.
I also ran the vocals through a patch on guitar rig 5 which gave them a little more warmth.
Warmest regards,

Captain Jimbo
