I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Thank you Kenny.
Here there are 2 different takes of acoustic guitar (Martin DCPA4) recorded in mono through an Aura Spectrum DI; one electric (Yamaha SA2200) recorded in mono in the DP24 without any effect except the internal DP24 noise suppression, and finally a bass (Ibanez GS180), again strait into the DP24.

Then, every track passed through the mixing phase on the PC using (as usual) Audition, adding various Waves compressors/eqs/reverb plugins.

My first sensations about the DP24.

After many years using Boss recorders, the feel I have is I have moved a step forward to a more professional approach. The DP looks more professional...and the great thing is that in spite of the "pro feel", everything is very simple to understand and use. In few words, nothing to compare to the absurd Zoom R16 that I never liked (and I was really glad when I sold it...). 8 inputs, 12 mono and 6 stereo tracks, UNDO function, virtual tracks, remote pedal control, good quality (but rather simple and basic) effects, possibility to import/export to/from PC/Mac wav files directly, no need to transform into Boss format. Really a great, great unit.
