took me two days to figure this out and probably got all the words and chords wrong in the process, tried to record it on my microbr, after 7 or 8 attempts i gave up.

got out the br800 and tried again, had to turn off all the bits and bobs and do a dry recording, then afterwards i put wav file into cool pro edit to remove background noise.

have been planning on trying to do this one for a while, my intention being to do a full production, don't hold your breath on that one, maybe one day i'll get the nerve.

anyway apologies to the wonderful Steve Mason, he should be a household name. Just me and my jasmine Live in the Living Room.

Who on earth did you think you were?
Fifteen years in a prison shirt
And I tried to let you down
Never tried to turn it round
And those were the days that no one misses
No postcards sent, signed sealed with kisses
This is the man who saved your life
He fed, he clothed, he even gave you a wife
Noise outside, boys outside, noise outside
boys outside, noise outside  boys outside
Now count the stress on just one finger
Sadness, despair or joy, pull the trigger
I thought you were my only friend
That's not true, I now know at the end
Some darker part will always love you
But don't send me no note cause I'll make sure it won't get through
This is the man who took your life
He never fed, or clothed, he never gave you a wife
Noise outside, boys outside, noise outside
Boys outside, noise outside, boys outside
Noise outside, boys outside, noise outside
Boys outside, noise outside, boys outside
I was with those boys who turned you round
Showed you yourself and then we knocked you down
If you come outside with us I'll show you why
Because the things I've seen in my life will make you cry
Boys outside, boys outside, boys outside
Boys outside, boys outside, boys outside
Boys outside, boys outside, boys outside
Boys outside, boys outside, boys outside
