Hook

Dude, what a cool tune. Your voice sounds so good man, your phrasing is smooth and confidant and there's such a clean grit to your voice, love it man. As always playing rocks, you are a badass! Funny i was in the other room when this came on my phone and I was sure it was Reg.
Rock on!

Yes, you should

I agree. This is some fine blues with great licks. You think you could post the lyrics?  ;D

Thanks all for the comments, appreciated as always. I have posted my crappy lyrics.

I should explain .....  ;D ;D ;D ;D

This was never meant to be a song. I kinda just happened.

I was reading about tone and amps and stuff, and wanted to see how the Kemper would react to the tone shaping stuff (I normally leave flat). Chose a loop and repeated ad-infinitum. So recorded the first thing against a loop to play the lead against. Then was playing the lead, whilst adjusting the tone controls. I liked the sound so recorded that. (Oh my, this is so haphazard  :-[ ) So added a ploddy bass, and it begged for some organ. Then I changed the drum loop, and put a totally different loop in for the chorus (its sounds kinda funny). I thought I may as well add some lyrics, so scribbled down some embarrassingly not-very-well-thought-out lyrics. And then had to sing real quiet as every one had gone to bed. Hmm perhaps that's my new singing technique  ;D ;D ;D

Still, a pro recording engineer responded to my "I can't sing" comment many years ago with "everyone can sing, you just have to sing like you mean it". I would subscribe to that - plus its easier to deal with it, if you can sing in a way that doesn't sound like you (if you get my drift) - easier to handle. I dislike the way I sing, I always have, probably always will - but there you go!

BTW - I do agree that the vocals need to be brought up a bit - will try a remix :-)

Bloody odd how these things happen, thought i'd share.

Had to chuckle when I read that - This is true Songcrafting in a nutshell! You do it wherever, whenever and however IMO. And you're really good so that doesn't hurt at all. Some of us struggle so much more... :)

You the man!
