This is a beuitiful track,the production is so laid back and so chilled.
I do hear a Dido influence and this would not be out of place on one of her cd,s.
The lyrics are fantastic ad well and the vocal very controlled and right on the money.
You can tell a lot of time and effort has went into this,musically and lyrically.
An excellent piece of songwriting.
Well done.

Fabulous track, Leigh.  There's real craft in the complexity and space in the mix and it all suits the gravity in the lyric.  Most enjoyable.

And those lyrics have been coming back to me all day, especially the line about the virtual world more real than the withering planet.

This song is a seduction.  The backing track and rhythm draw me in.  The delivery on the vocal invites me deeper.  And then ... I realize that the song has meaning.  I HAVE TO THINK!  I try to stop the music, but I can't.  I'm totally hooked. 

And then the guitar lead ... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!  I have to listen to that again!

And then I realize that fifteen or twenty thirty? minutes have gone by.  What was I supposed to be doing?  Paying bills?  Feeding someone?
