It's taken ages to get this one out.
The instrumentation was recorded over 6 months ago, using a Boss BR800 (drums, bass, guitars & mastering) & iPad GarageBand (keyboards & mix), before Graham had heart surgery.
The vocals were recorded after, so it's kinda special for him.
After vocals it was remixed umpteen times until we agreed on this version.  ::)

Hope you like it, it's not our 'normal' style.
We think it's a Pink Floyd meets King Crimson whilst Dire Straits look on.  ;D

Graham & his daughter made the video, using selected local locations.

Thanks Alex. Admittedly it was 6 months due to my tardiness & Graham's convalescence.
I think it was worth the wait though :)

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!

All round fantastic. Great bit of major prog, I love the vocal and lyric and the lead going all the time just works.

We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different
- Kurt Vonnegut.

Flash Harry

Just back for a 'proper' listen.

(i.e. a glass of rioja and my westones.)

I can hear the layers much better, the synth pads fill out the soundscape - nice and fat, lovely full 'Bitten by Sharks'

And it's a real 70's fuzz on that break  - nice....

Can we have a track please? - I need it for my piepod

Cheers
Gilmour: That'd be Graham (Voodoo John) pre op.
Soundscape: That'd be me, cajoled into greater things by Graham.
Atmospheric Video: Graham again

Yep, all Graham's work (vocal, lyrics & lead). I provide bass & cake icing. ;)

Thanks again.
The layering is my contribution. The 70's fuzz is Graham's (TC Electronics I think) pedal.
Mp3 is too big to upload (over 10 Mb), so instead here's a link to the full "Album" version.

Cheers Mach, That's Graham. The boy certainly knows his guitar tones.

Thanks everyone for the comments. We're certainly loving reading them. 8)
