He's on the way. I already had a big limb hit the roof with minimal winds and caused a small leak in the kitchen and it's not even here yet. Our street has a small river rushing down from the rains. We should start getting the heavy stuff later today. Good news is the track has shifted a little to the East so our storm surge numbers have went down.

There are hundreds of thousands along the coast without power. I'm sure we will lose power once it gets up next to us. Bad news is they suspended liquor sales until Sunday  Good news is I stocked up yesterday

That's a fascinating and disturbing graphic.

These things often have a habit, once they're finished with your part of the world, of hooking up to the Gulf stream, coming over the Atlantic and hitting land again right about the Severn Estuary in the UK, where I am.  So I shall be watching this one with interest.  They're usually pretty much spent compared to what you're seeing but still nasty by our standards.

One Gulf Stream area for us is that little stretch between the Bahamas and Florida.
