We are already getting steady rain and little wind gust in Jacksonville and it's still down in the Bahamas.
Just shows the magnitude of this storm. They have issued mandatory evacuations for St. Augustine
just 25 miles South of us. There are also reports of major power outages already in South Central Fla.
I had to wait 20 min. this morning to get gas and all they had was Premium with only 1 pump working out of 12.
Water, can't be found on shelves in stores, I'm glad I stocked up 2 days ago.

I'm riding it out. It's going to be gridlock on evacuation routes outta here. You guys here in Florida stay safe.

Thanks for all of the good wishes.  A positive attitude is crucial in these times.

Friends have just arrived from Jacksonville.  They live close to the river.  Schools are closed.  Airports are closing.  Our camping gear is ready for when the power goes out.  We have food, water, beer, and wine.  We'll see what comes.

Looks like it's gonna be an East Coaster so I truly haven't even thought much about it. I would imagine we will see some rain and wind tomorrow but nothing too bad. I have a big gig on Sat. here at The Straz Center. I have 2 different CDs being delivered (200 of each) and 50 T-shirts to pick up so things best be passable or I'm gonna open a big can of whoop ass on Mother Nature...oh yea!
