Live in the Living Room... well live in the Home Office / Music Studio...

So recorded live into Garageband, vocals and Mexican Strat. Volume boosted a bit in Audacity. All my MP3's are never as loud as anyone else so I always Amplify and Compress a little in Audacity. Not to blast anyone out of it but they just sound unusually quiet if I don't do this.

There's Gonna Be A Revolution

We're sick of dancing to the same old tunes
We're sick of playing to the same old rules
We always end up on the losing side
You keep on telling us the same old lies
Can't you see
There's Gonna Be A Revolution

They line their pockets but they still want more
They feast on you till they can feast no more
Why can't you see it coming down the tracks
Pretty soon there'll be no turning back
Don't you know
There's Gonna Be A Revolution

Well I know
That things are gonna change
Could take time
I might not be around
When it does
Some people gonna fall
But till then
Its the same for one and all

Some people say that things will never change
That things are meant to be this way for good
But I don't think those people realise
That everything it must come to an end
Can't you see
There's Gonna Be A Revolution

I really like this song - very nicely performed live. I'd like to hear a big production version of this tune.

I'm on my 3rd listen now. Although this is great just the way it is I'm also with Bruno on a big production that starts out like it is now and builds bigger. Very cool song.

Here in America this topic hits close to home.  We feel like we're headed for a revolution no matter who wins this crazy, bazaar, messed up Presidential race.  But I digress.....

This is a cool song that matches the instrumental mood to the lyrical topic.  I love that you chose to post this as a live performance.  I also agree with Mach and Bruno in that I'd also like to hear this song fleshed out in a studio version.

Well played, sung and recorded.  And some very good song writing.
Let it be known, there is a fountain, that was not made, by the hands of men.

I really like this one Mike,
So well written and performed,

Great lyrics. Good tune. Excellent song! And the recording is expertly played and well sung.

I greatly enjoyed the live recording, but I have to agree with Bruno, Mach and Rolow: a studio version would be epic.
Dueling BR1600s. Beats banjos.

Brilliant! Can I just add my voice to the chorus of folks asking for a big sounding "band" version of this... it deserves it, mate... go on, you know you want to!

Oh, this is power! So good Mike, you have to do a full version. Epic is the right word, I could hear global voices singing.
