Thanks Kenny. I usually record in Pro Tools. If I record direct the chain is: Guitar>mixer>audio interface>guitar rig or amplitube>DAW or outboard gear like my J-Station modeller instead of virtual software amps.

If I'm micing my tube amps I use an SM57 close up and sometimes a condenser mic far away. It just depends on the vibe I'm going for. In this case, it was through Amplitube with about a 9:00 boost on my preamps through the interface. I find it very versatile.

Lovely cover, I really enjoy it when folks take a tune and stamp their own identity on it. Great sounding guitars, super crunchy sounds.

Love the way this arrangement preserves the traditional R&B roots even while taking on an updated rhythmic groove of its own.  I think the guitar is the star on this one but it's all well done.  Great job on a great song!
