Phrase trainer... pitch mod?

Hi everybody...  new to the community awesome site.

I just got my BR and man am I impressed.  Compared to my old PXR 4 this thing is so convenient is not even funny.  However, I wanted to know if it is posible to change the pitch of a song in MP3 mode.  Lets say I am trying to practice a song in tuned in Eb and i have a Floyd Rose Guitar tuned to 440 E.  is is possible to change the tunning to match the guitar?  I know I was able to do that on my Pandora PX4 not on the PXR4, so just wondering if it can be done in the BR.  It seems is not possible from the manual.

Thanks! ::)

I have tried doing the same thing and have had no luck. It's funny to think that it wont do it though because generally, if you change the speed/tempo on a recorded track, the pitch automatically gets changed and you actually need software to keep the pitch the same. Thats how I think of it anyway.

Also, I had a Korg Pandora PXR4 too and I missed it sorely at first but after a few weeks of use on the BR, I actually realized how much a PIA the Pandora was to use. The only thing  I miss these days are the track sliders but I've gotten over it. The BR is 200% more user friendly all around. And it looks pretty slick to boot! How would you compare the BR to the Pandora with your own experience?

I agree with the previous poster...  BR is just easy to work with.  The PXR 4 was awesome when it came out but the BR is in a league of its own.  I use it mainly to record band practice and ideas.  The convenience of the SD card is the and direct to MP3 recording is awesome as it eliminates a couple of steps from the Pandora way for editing.  The only thing that is not intuitive to me is using the rythm on the BR.  I need to go back and read that section of the manual...  Other than that I am golden!

You can change the speed which changes the pitch of course but if that's important, you can slow that down with the free Audacity program
