There has been a lot of discussion recently on the site about writing and recording methods. Well this is my response in song.  ;D ;D
All of the music was done in GarageBand using it's built in virtual instruments, then recorded directly to my br800 and then I wailed over the top of it all using my microbr as a mic via the br800's line in.

I press my pencil to the sheet the graphite transfers thoughts from me
Thoughts I never even knew I had
Sometimes it helps to write things down sometimes it helps to scream and shout
Yeah baby let it out, yeah baby let it out
And everything I've ever done it leads me to another song
And I Gotta let it out let it out
Sometimes I just can't play the chords but I can always find the words
That is my curse that is my curse
By any means by any way I will complete this song today
Or it will leave me unresolved
I close my eyes I close my mind and when I'm truly flying blind
The ideas come the ideas come
This songs for you this songs for everyone
This songs for me this songs for everyone
Well I've no idea what I'm doin' and I am thankful that's the case
Cos I couldn't do it any other way

Very good Jim, lovely words and you have vocalised your recording technique beautifully. Really enjoyed that.

Wow. I wasn't aware that Garageband was so capable:that's a great introduction to its abilities. Well put together too.

I'm not complaining. I wish I had a process that produced half the output and quality that you produce.

That acoustic guitar is a virtual instrument? Criminy.

Dug this a lot. Whenever you want to leave me a n open spot, I'll be happy to throw a noodle in there. Some of my happiest collaborations have been on your tunes.
