It seems that 1967 was a good vintage for songs. I'm spoilt for choice on this fest  :)

Anyway, here's my take on a Hendrix classic... a bit different from the original - I can't compete with Jimi, so I'm not going to try. It's a fairly sedate acoustic affair until the end when I just needed to go a bit crazy.

It was indeed a great year for music.

Hendrix has been my absolute favourite musician since I first heard his music in the mid-sixties. And "Little Wing" is a superb song which you've covered beautifully. Normally, I don't like listening to Hendrix covers because it seems like sacrilege. But your acoustic version is brilliant. I love how you've captured the beauty of the song without trying to mimic Hendrix. Well done!

Brilliant! This is a really good version and the drums sound live backing that wonderful acoustic. I like your lead solo on the end as it is your own. Great work John.

A great cover Johnny done in your own style. The acoustic sounds vibrant and the electric outro solo is wild and crazy good!

Dude! Outrageously good brother. I've had this tune in my set for years, not my favorite Hendrix tune but one of the few I could perform kinda...if you take out the guitar intro and any good soloing and make it about the chords and lyrics and my bad soloing.
This makes me never want to play it again.
So good my friend.
Rock on!
