The 1st song on most lists for 1973 & probably the most sissy of all prison songs. Recorded LITLR this afternoon in the car with my QChord.

You might remember I got a used omnichord a while back but I wasn't happey with it so I got a new QChord. I've already used it in my dayjob quite a bit so as cheesy as it is, it was well worth it. And perfect fr this song!

I never liked the original of this song,
But this version is spot on, Love it,
Your Q Chord looks complicated but some great sounds...
Well done Hook....

Great take on a cheesy classic, mate! It's one of those songs I hated when I was a kid (along with "Paper Roses" by Marie Osmond), but it has such happy memories for me. Thanks for the memory! Never seen an instrument like that before... looks like the kind of thing Spock would use to analyse an alien world for signs of life. Perfect cheesy kitsch accompaniment for this song!

Now there's an idea!

Great version of this Hook - I'd have liked to have seen a vid on this one . . .

Great version Hook of a (actually not so great, tbh) song.  Cheese is a good word.

Cheesy perhaps but also a bit of ham going on here  ;)!

I actually quite enjoyed this  - which is not something I envisaged ever writing in relation to this song.

Having said that, I remember someone pointing out back in the day that the chord structure of Tie a Yellow Ribbon is a lot more challenging than Smoke on the Water.  I'm sure that this is very profound.

That's one crazy device brother. A super double cheeze burger maker  ;D ;D ;D ;D love it!

As always, your collection of instruments never ceases to amaze, and you can use them in ways that I would never imagine to do. Too cool brother.

I found this quote extremely funny.

Cool take on the classic. I miss Tony Orlando's mustache.
