Worthwhile gas if you can create like this!

Sir - where were you at Woodstock?

This trippy song.... late 60's early 70's tripping - I'm just melting away!  That bass line kills!

Fantastic!!!

I have always wanted an E-H pedal of any kind  (because their marketing is so good) but have stopped myself, knowing that there may be no end to it.

I have a lot of Boss pedals because they are more "affordable".

But you tempt me good sir.

Your recent GAS has served you well. Great playing and use of tones. I have bother these pedals bookmarked in my want list, but I may save for a Strymon.

Thanks all for the comments - having lots of fun with these pedals!
I can thank this site for new found GAS - seeing everyone getting gear is temptation. Started with the Zoom CDR, which has loads of fetures - but really didnt excite. So took a punt on the Obscura - great reviews. Well its instant inspiration, the sounds are great - and the Kemper doesn't have a reverse or a proper tape echo. Bruce - was looking at the Strymon - but the are 4* the price over here (alternatively the Eventide), as compared to the Digitech pedals. However, I dont know if the benefits justify the outlay for me :-) Having been won over by the Obscura, a saw the Polaris in the shop as well. Doooohhhh!

Well - both these pedals are made by Digitech (not EHX - who's pedals I love also). Digitech own Lexicon - and apparently share algorithms - and they use 7 of these algorithms in the Poloris. So the Kemper doesn't have a model for spring reverb, which is a big thing for the Kemper community. The zoom spring verb was pretty rubbish to be honest (it has lots of great sounds - but I didn't like the spring verb). The Lexicon/Digitech one is astounding - it sounds and behaves like a spring verb (bar kicking the box/amp) - and worth the money on its own. It also has a lush halo shimmer verb, which is loverly. Super inspirational. I'm still playing with them - hopefully will put up a Johnny style review at some point (they are sooo good, and bad for GAS at the same time).
