Listening to the echoed & reverbed version of this (love those reverb squonks, by the way). This is a really great arrangement, and there's plenty of feeling expressed. You really captured and expressed the meaning in the lyrics.

Hey, the dry version works great, too! I have to give the edge to the "wet" version, though. A bit more mayhem there.

A brilliant take on another Kinks song I didn't know I knew. Very original, the way you handled the beginning, then it "tightens up" becoming more "conventional and the contrast is sublime... The two approaches work so well together. Superbly creative, mate!
