Having been a strat player since my teens, I've got bitten by the tele bug. It dawned on me the other day that I hadn't played my strat in almost a year... since I got the "Charity Shop Tele". Hence my strat is now up on ebay... raising funds for another tele (semi-acoustic with P90s).

Lovely, classy looking guitar you got there, Hook... made from bits & pieces of other guitars: a true thoroughbred mongrel just like mine! Looking forward to hearing what it inspires you to do!

Congrats Hook, black with tortoise - wow! & Farrell, that is so beautiful! Both are gorgeous in different ways!

I got the bug too, shown here, but a real cheapie:

Johnny, that's lovely.
Bonoid nut - glass in the mix- interesting. Haven't heard of that before.
 I hope you get it.

Should keep 'em both. I find that I leave guitars for a while, and then 're-discover' them after a period :-)
Mind you, I can never sell anything, so don't listen to me!!!!

That's a great looking guitar you got, Hook.  Love that black finish.

I've been lurking on this thread a lot, living in the GAS fantasy world. Now it's time to break cover.

Here's mine in the heat of battle, it's a 1981 Tokai Breezysound, which I've had since around 1986.

Your floor is both disturbingly messy and achingly beautiful (fanning oneself). Congrats.
