Hurray it's raining, an excuse to make music. Hope you enjoy.    Willie

Every night I sit here in my lonely room
Should I go out or should I stay
Will you come knocking on my door tonight
If you do will you say

I'm so sorry babe I didn't mean it
I didn't mean to be so long

Every day I'm waiting for your call
Waiting for you to ring my phone
I guess that you might forget my number
Speed dial number one will get you home

I'm so sorry babe I didn't mean it
I didn't mean to be so long

Instrumental

I'm so sorry babe I didn't mean it
I didn't mean to be so long

Repeat verse one,  Outro

You are chirping on that opening and outro lead guitar like the Reverend Billy G. Love it. If I've never said it before, you have such a great voice, so full of character. This came together really nicely. Liking how the vocals overlap one another in this.

Nice.

Real good song Willie! The backing vocals are killer and those harmonics in the guitar solos are very fine indeed.  You have it all going on in this one my friend!

Sounding as good as ever Willie.
I'm curious what you used for the lead tones, that's probably the nicest sounding lead i've heard in a very long time?
"...a guitar sound that you could curdle cream with." Ferryman

Hi and thank you all for your kind words. Kenneth, I used my PRS through a Fender Mustang into a BR900cd set flat to get the tone on this song. I couldn't find the Jim Dunlop picks I normally use and the replacement seemed to exacerbate the harmonics which is something I tend to do anyway, something I picked up from Big Jim Sullivan. Hope that explains it.  Willie
