Someone had to do it...right?
LITLR in the car last Monday right before I left for a family vacation. I recorded it at one of my favorite spots ( https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=21506.0) and didn't notice the intense bug song but it dissapears at about 2min.  Just got it off the BR80 tonight.

Could'nt get it to play, Had to download....
You said someone had to do it, And I am so glad you did,
What a great laid back version,
Love the voice, and the uke is so well played.
Well done Hook.......

I remember someone saying thst years ago
this went under the bbc radar as no one  knew it was about a transvestite.
It's even cooler with the bug song in the background  lol
Makes it real.
Excellent rendition hook your the man.

Nice one, Hook! I've said it before, but I'll say it again... the way you tackle a song just with a single uke just amazes me. Brilliant work, mate!

The BBC actually requested the lyric change from "Coca Cola" to "Cherry Cola" to avoid the BBC ban on advertising... whilst all the time missing the risque subject matter  ;D

The other famous example of this kind of ting is when they banned "My Ding-a-Ling" but made "Walk On The Wild Side" a record of the week  ;D

Nice version Hook.  Probably their best known song, to me anyway.

I like the atmospherics on this, as well as the customary relaxed confident performance.

I really like this. I'd like to see a vid for this one!

Loved this brother - and all the background noise gives it atmosphere - you can really chill out to this tune :-)
