Loved it - one of my favorite Kinks songs from arguably their best album, ever. Great LitLR version, too! I always find if you can capture it right the first time, the rest flows much more enjoyably.

Well done, Nick!

A great cover of yet another Kinks song I'd forgotten I knew. During this fest, I've kind of gone from being a bit agnostic about the Kinks to deciding I need to grab a compilation album. All thanks to great covers like this one!

Hi Nick,

I just uploaded a garage band version of this. Yours is a much more competent version.

I wanted to capture one of the better Kinks songs and give the Davies boys a bit of support.

Thanks Ian et al.

After rushing out my version, I did what I always do, thinking that I could have done more.  So I went onto Freesound.org and got a couple of sound files to add to it.

The bells pealing clip is actually recorded in a village only about 10 miles from where I live, which is nice.

They're attribution licenced clips, so here goes with the attribution;

PealingChurchBells - acclivity

http://freesound.org/people/acclivity/sounds/34052/

STREET AMBIENCE 1 - vedas

http://freesound.org/people/vedas/sounds/73278/

Both clips were faded in and had reverb and delay added, which I guess constitutes a change to the material.

Note to 64G - I don't need this one added to the fest jukebox, thanks.
