cuthbert's New Birthday Present...

It's a Vorson EGLTL RVM electric guitarlele, in metallic flake burgundy:

Made in China, I expect? It's the size and scale of a tenor uke, with 6 strings tuned to ADGCEA. Just one pickup with active electronics. Knobs from the top control volume, treble, and bass (EQ is quite noticeable while turning those bottom two pots). The fit and finish on this little guitar is unbelievable!

It sounds great (leans toward trebly due to its tuning, but you can balance that out with the bass knob), but there is a little more hum than I'd like at times. The setup was a bit high when I got it, but I've been tweaking it at the saddle a bit over the past couple of days and it's more comfortable now. In addition to the adjustable saddles, there is also a truss rod which I haven't had the need to adjust yet. Neck width and feel is very close to that of an electric guitar.

I think it'll make a good companion to my Eastwood Airline electric mandola, too :) :

So far I'm loving it! It will be making its musical debut very soon.

A very cool purchase. I imagine it will be a belly punch for Hook.

Oh, that's a beauty!

Yep. It wasn't easy to find but I believe this is the manufacturer's website:

Although, I couldn't find your guitarlele anywhere on the site. Lots of acoustic guitarleles though:

Actually, they all look like the same model except for the colour/print. The one with the Union Jack print looks pretty good. I guess that would be a "U.K.-lele".  ;D
