I went to see an old buddy of mine in Richmond, VA last week. His girlfriend is an amazing bassoonist and I've been trying to get him back into playing piano for years. While there he got himself a very nice keyboard (Yamaha something with weighted keys) and she got out the bassoon and we jammed some. This was recorded LITLR on the boss BR600 stereo mics. I bought it and never used so it's theirs now.
I brought the track home with me and mastered them on the BR80.

Just listened to the Elvis Costello cover you posted & was blown away by the sound you guys conjured up. Well, ditto for this tune too... just gorgeous!

This Richmond Trio is truly amazing !!!

Very nice coherency of the band, beautyful live performance, and there is a lot of emotion and warness in the vocals

This sounds really good. I'm embarrassed to say I didn't recognize this tune. i will have to delve a bit. The question is will Hook be now acquiring a bassoon?
