There's no easy way of getting over the pain threshold, it gets easier with familiarity. When I first started I couldn't even stand up and play the guitar, now I'm a f*cking Rottweiler on stage!

LOL! Any links to these aggressive K9 performances? Intrigued! Do you experience much heckling in your day (night?) job Hilary?

Gig my stuff? My original band was called"the bunk beds" cos woz a bed room band and I get stage fright yo muthablubbas. Regarding novellas I was thinking that length of individual posts could perchance be an opening volley to an offbeat scandi noir musical where was I. Two brandies and a bag aif cement waiter.

Joking aside James, yeah ... I get some serious stage fright too amigo - it's a major 'Room 101/Catch 22' for me in fact! Just wish I could somehow get past it and find some way to actually enjoy performing & the whole live experience. As a songwriter I feel I've been under this self-confined rock of mine for THE longest time now! That said, I'm not really sure what I can do about it. Guess it's 'a condition' of sorts. Bummer!
