Off work for a few days so I've had the time today to knock this one out. Based on Bobby Goldsboro's 1973 hit, a song about a 17 year old boy who is seduced by a 31 year old woman. As a pubescent, almost teenager, the song instilled the fantasy in my mind about the same thing happening to me but, alas, it never happened.

As a Lancashire lad, I've changed the setting to Blackpool, which for the non-UK members is a boozy seaside resort in North West England, famous for its tower (a smaller version of the Eiffell Tower, and its 3 Victorian piers under which, it is rumoured, when the tide is out at night, entertainment of a different type takes place !

If I had been seduced by an older woman, this is probably how it would have gone - slightly rude lyrics and if you're a Smiths fan, see if you can spot the Morrisey-influenced line !

This seemed so familiar, but I couldn't remember.  I went back and listened to the original.

You nailed this!  This is hilarious, especially after listening to the Bobby Goldsboro version.

Black Mary

Hahahaha 😁 What a way to start the day !!! This is hilarious 😁 I'm sat on the train laughing out loud ! Hehe. Thank U Pete C for a proper belly laugh. Did U borrow Morrissey's hands to place on her mammary glands?☺

Nicely done, Pete.  Nicely observed lyrics and I remember having a similar reaction to the original (I think I'm about the same age as you, I was 8 in 1973).

Never been to Blackpool, although I used to go out with a girl from Lytham St Annes, when I was in (Salford) University.

Brought a smile to my face (and a cringe at some of the lyrics "at the smell of my fingers").

And then where does it disappear  to at the end?!

Thanks for your comments guys !  I was a bit dubious about posting this one as Mrs C thought it was crude, but I think its quite 'schoolboy' humour.

Well spotted Black Mary and yes, Nick, it does fade out a bit too quickly !
