Nice looking Tele Tommy! Hey did you take a picture of it in the mirror? It's reversed,  ;D. They make a lot more lefty guitars compared to the olden days. Nice one!

but the sound and twang from it is very powerful for a Squier.

I played one of those Affinity teles recently & I was struck by how comfortable the neck was. Better than a Mex tele, I'd say... nice looking guitar, Tommy & you make it sound pretty special too, mate!

Yeah, I'm sure we've all heard ... "But you've already got a guitar, why do you need another one?" Apparently the same comment when I make it about shoes/handbags/new tops/earrings or scatter cushions doesn't count... apparently  ;D

I was fonder for my Squier Tele than my current upgrade. Congrats.

Had one of these myself, and a very decent guitar it was too. 8)
One thing I did notice after a couple of years (and before it got nicked), is that the fretboard starts to discolour due to fingerwear/sweat etc. Just a heads-up.

These threads are vexing me - stop it!

I've been pondering echo units, from the Behringer Echo machine, up to a Strymon Timeline and an Eventide - and I'm even more confused now than before I've started. I settled on ordering a Zoom CDR as an interim which comes tomorrow. I've already got too many. The good part was I decided to un-box the TC Nova and try it in the stereo loop  on the Kemper. Oh my golly-gosh, it does some rather awesome. I will be using that sometime soon. The Zoom has plenty of off-the-wall ambient delays - so should be interesting, including shimmer verbs, and ice echo's (which the Kemper doesn't do). The Nova has a spring reverb, which sounds awesome on the Kemper.

I am vexed. I thought I'd beating this GAS thing. Also, there was a bright yellow Yamaha guitar in the guitar shop today - ooohhhh!

Congrats on the delay purchase. I am at the point where I am scratching my head as to how I spent so much money over the last few months. More to the point, I am scratching my head as to how I'm going to cover my bills.

More of the seedy underbelly of g.a.s.

Hmm, I think I'll take a gander at Craigslist...

The tele is an addictive guitar, Alex... you'll wonder how you ever managed without one  :)

Go on... treat yourself! This one looks pretty good - check out the sound clips...
