Damn that made me laugh out loud! That's just me being lazy - I write and produce way to fast for my own good. The song is kinda what I played off the cuff against the drum loop. Its length is what came out at the time - so not particularly planned - but I really like the feel, so kept it! I kinda got to the end and stopped - oh well!

Anyway, I digress. There is a story behind this song which I want to share. So my eldest daughter's (Milli) partner (Gil - they've been together 10 years). Well Gil's dad has had some serious health issues recently. So a few weeks ago, he and his partner decided to get married. Milli wanted to celebrate the wedding by holding a garden party, so we helped her set it all up last weekend. It was a lovely day, and I cooked a serious amount of food :-) Anyway, George (Gil's dad) has been a semi-pro musician all of his life - playing bass in many blues bands all across the UK. Real good, old school blues player. George brings his Gibson hybrid (semi acoustic body, and Gibson neck) and an old valve amp which he's had since the 60's - his mate brings a bass, and I brought the Kemper - so we jam in the garden till its late. We also play some country, and I played some fiddle. Well it was a brilliant day. We had a long conversation about Kemper's versus amps - George's view, it ain't real :-) - I can respect that. He had an awesome tone. Anyway, just wanted to capture some of that day's magic in a tune. Respect to George - a lovely fellow, hope he wins his battle.

Liking the  story and tune.
Those Kempers are something else, been doing alot of reading and listening about them and the Fractal Axe units. I think that debate will go forever.
Anyways... the song rocks. Nice playing , and the vocals are the coolest.

That is the oddest euphemism I've heard in a while.

Killer post!!! That lead tone is to die for. Vocals dripping with attitude and a cool little tumbling riff I dig. Downloaded.

Yes, those trepidation blues...  Take it...
