First song in a while and guess what it's about.

anyway been in deep funk unable to write or get any inspiration, then on friday night bbc4 broadcast the entire series of Punk britannia http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00s81jw

that gave me a jolt, so i came up with riff, which i recorded to my micro br, using my woolies strat and jasmine electro acoustic both recorded to stereo tracks.

i then transferred said tracks to my br800 and then created a drum track with my hands. the synth drum sound is actually me clapping my hands but processed through a wah guitar fx. then i slapped my kitchen work surface for the tom sounds.

i then bounced all that as both the drum tracks where also stereo, i then added a bass track with my epiphone bass to a single mono track, then two stereo juno tracks which left one track for a vocal using my microbr as a mic via the line in. and hey presto some noise terrorism for you.

the following video is not vic reeves, tho i dearly wish it was.

how can you make sense from all this noise
all is chaos
how do you know which way to turn
without signposts
the lunatics have taken over
the asylum
you want to leave but all the doors are closed
in isolation
on the wrong side of history
nobody else was listening
on the wrong side of history
and you won't be writing it now

Nice work, James.  It's a lovely atmosphere you created.

The lunatics have indeed taken over the asylum. Democracy is a tw@ at times.

I recorded that whole Punk Britannia series on Friday, then promptly deleted it as it was too big.  Hope to catch it in iPlayer.

Lovely stuff Jim. Love the ominous Bassline (I would just bring it up a tad in the mix though as it is well cool).

Great song... loved it.
