Good lord, that vocal is so front and center...and with zero sibilance. Makes me want to look upward from my current mic selection, but then I realize it's the skill of the singer/engineer most likely. Just a lovely cover...and timely as well for those fans of Rainbow.

I wish you luck with the grip strength, but your singing is a treat.

Ironically, I just passed up an RNC for $100. Probably should've pulled the trigger.

Thanks Blooby! I do my best when singing to hold the ssssss' and ppppp's down to a minimum but the TC Helicon strip gets most of the credit. It has a semi auto, set and forget, de-esser function that works great. I've found it's optimum level setting that works well with my voice. 

This week I've been playing my guitar a little each day to get back my flexibility and grip strength which it seems to be working....I have an original that I want record so I'll see how it goes.

Wow an RNC Compressor for $100.....you should have grabbed it. I wouldn't mind having another just for a back up in case mine died. I use it on everything.
