Good luck with the tests. There appears to be much illness in our little community, and it sucks.

Still, when your better - perhaps we should aim for a little MET, I'm not that far from Oxford? That would be cool. Take it easy man, I empathise, its a worrying time. Stay focused and stay positive.

Thanks so much for all of your kind words of support.  It really helps. 

It turns out that I have a Chiari malformation which I'll let you google if you have a strong stomach - I don't want to ruin everyone's lunch!  My wife summed it up fairly well:  "You have a big head but your brain still doesn't quite fit!"   

Have to go back in a couple of weeks to see what can/should be done.

Thanks once again.  I have no doubt that I will be back.

From what you said and what I googled it seems like you have type I, which means the prognosis are relatively good. Hope you'll be fine !
