It feels really strange in here.... ::)

It arrived last night!......... :D
First out of the box it looked very gown up and serious against my friendly shiny little MBR... :o
Anyway I plugged everything in and managed to get a stereo line in down and then moved on to guitar and was blown away with the extra guitar patches (19 in total!..... As well as an extra 30 line patches, 20 mic and 9 master patches)
Anyway managed to select a patch and lay a simple lead guitar track down (using Rock Lead 8))...
Then hit a brick wall...the mixing and mastering are nothing like a MBR... ???
64 Guitars to the rescue again his reference docs made it really simple to mix and master...the export process is simple too.....
So far:
Likes
Intuitive
Big simple buttons (no having to press 2 at once!)
Range of effects
Faders
Easy access to Flash card
Dislikes
LCD screen is a bit old fashioned
Very small memory on card (definitely needs an upgrade)

So here's my first simple 600 recording....I'm off to do another with the stereo mics and some rhythm guitar....... :D ;)

By the way I messed with the faders at 30secs for a second ???

SharksDontSleep

Not a bad 1st attempt I'd say.
Nice solo jam.
Not sure if it's my headphones, but I'm detecting a little bit of digital distortion, so maybe the levels are a little high :-\

Definitely go for a larger memory card. I use 1gb & it give me loads of time to mess around artistically create lots of virtual tracks.

Until the next one ...

Bro

Even though you are a traitor you still have your great playing.

Hate to say this but... You fucking rock :D

Love your blues guitar. Very inspirational !
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.

Pedro

I'm listening to a bit of distortion in the beginning as well.

After the 30th second it is good, though. Good job on this, your relation with the BR-600 looks promising. :)

The Reverend 48

You guys are Too Kind...... after another session on the '600 I have sorted the levels out and this recording is pants! >:(
I thought the distortion was the patch not my crap recording :-[ :-[

SteveB

48 - Not pants at all. I've heard 'live' albums recorded at LOT worse. And hey, imagine you were a complete novice to music and were able to construct something even resembling this in the first DAY, you'd be hooked for life. And so this would show those novice listeners that those extra few minutes every day practicing their chosen instrument could pay these type of dividends quite quickly. Nothing wrong with this at all.

Greeny

Smoking hot blues! You make it sound so effortless now in the freedom and abandon with which you play. Great stuff.

Rolow

Really righteous blues playing dude.

I'll be looking for more. :)
