Looking for a BR 800 Helper in Cambridge UK

I have a friend in Cambridge, England who got a Boss BR 800 for Christmas. I'm hoping to find someone to help him get it out of the box and have some fun with it.

He's lived the past 20+ years in Madagascar, and has been the driving force behind a rock band here (see: "14 Songs Covered by an 'Original' Snob (in Madagascar"))

He's a good rock guitarist and a singer. He knows his way around a mixing board. He has done some studio recording in the past. So... not a total noob. I think he'd be a quick study.

Why doesn't he join Songcrafters and post his questions here in the Boss BR Recorders forum? We'd be happy to help him. And by posting his questions publicly, he'd be helping other BR-800 users who may have similar questions and will benefit by reading the replies in his topics. This kind of public sharing of information is really what's great about forums like Songcrafters.

He could also read through the many BR-800 posts in this board. Even if they don't answer his questions, he'd see that lots of other people have asked BR-800 questions here, so he has nothing to fear.

I reckon he may. (I haven't even sent him the URL to the forum yet.)

I'm just thinking that, after a couple of decades away from his home country, he might want to connect in person with some new musicians who can also help him with his BR 800.
