We tend not to rehearse much, and I remember thinking as this tune progressed in real time that we hadn't discussed how to end it. When these epiphanies occur on stage, they are never warm and fuzzy. At least this was one of those times where the spontaneous exit strategy worked.

From a gig last week. We once again were coming out of a section of "Dixie Chicken" where I was soloing over a loop (I'm starting to think we do a lot of songs in the key of A). More nice singing from John, but I edited out a verse for brevity's sake (since there's no bridge).

You can also hear more of the Digitech Vocalist in the choruses.

I'm always amazed at how full a sound you lads get from your live recordings... it's just a single guitar & vocals, but it's a sound that fills the room... I simply don't miss the bass & drums. Of course this is down to the expert musicianship & your skill with the looper pedal - I tried one once & boy, was it hard work! Your timing is so precise that you make it sound effortless.

Great performances all round, lads & if you ever do a show at The Cleveland Hotel in Redcar, I'll be there like a shot  ;D

Bloody outstanding. Love the way the intensity increases and how you're both so in synch. It's always a treat to hear these live recordings.
