This started today as this https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=25349.0 and ended up as this, i am definitely having a brexitstential breakdown.

You can take your ball
and end the game
but we won't stop
we'll keep on playing
you can close your door
or you can let me in
you should come outside
and have some fun
instead of crying..................
you can pull down the blinds
to block the sun
but it's still gonna shine
on everyone
and you can close your door
or you can let me in
you should come outside
and have some fun
instead of crying............
etc
you should come outside and join the world

I dig where you went with this, I'm finding the high hat/tambourine a bit distracting. I'd bring down the drums or bring everything else up.
You are unstoppable brother and I pity the muther F%_=÷r who tries to stop you.
Rock on!

Yeh cool additions ,think it would have gelled better with just the bass drum as it is,the high hat and snare are a tad distracting.
You've realy opened up that song mate.

like i said the drums where add hoc. i recorded the song to a click track then added the drums from the juno di, drums last and flying by the seat of my pants.

mix was made under difficult conditions, so i might try a remix later.

i have done another mix using both the click track (br800 rock 1 verse 1) mixed with the original drum track much lower in the mix, but now i really hate the guitar parts. lol. so i think i'm gonna start from scratch but this time i am gonna spend a bit of time on creating a drum track first. and then try and get a better guitar sound. the entire exercise was performed under the influence of copious lager i'm afraid. so next go will be done sober.

Cool song... I agree the way that snare comes in & out is a bit off-putting. Need any help with the drum track? PM me if I can do anything, mate  :)

i think youve done a great job and your voice sounds great . i like the drums the way you have them... being an ex drummer .. i tend to turn the faders up on the drums sometimes i helps the sound.. which is the case here i think.....ps thanks for the tips on how to delete a song it worked a treat.......thanks again  ......tonyc

I really like it. The snare part is a good feature to my ears - it adds a bit of punch to the woolly, dreamy bass part. The wide panned guitars are really nice: love that downward chord change before the chorus.

Great song James!
