Another one for the 50s Rock n Roll fest. I was digging through the loft looking for some paint for the missus who's tarting up an old table. Anyway, I came across some of my old cassettes from years ago & this track was on one of them - I'd forgotten about it until now. Not having a cassette player any more, I found the tune on YouTube & suggested it to Tommy.

He replied saying that he'd been about to suggest the same tune to me... it seems that great minds think alike (or fools seldom differ - you decide!)

Anyway... all the usual suspects:

Cakewalk SI Drums (slight beef preset kit)
No-Name Bass
2 x tele rhythm guitar tracks (panned L/R)
Lead Guitar - tele
Tele & Bass played through the Vox Tonelab & recorded dry, then "Tiled Room" Reverb added to everything except the bass which had a little compression on it. And some analogue tape sim (30ips) added to the Master Bus.

Tommy sent me his guitar part which already had his signature "Hank" echo printed, which saved me some time... he knows that sound much better than I do :)

Great working with you once again, Tommy... you're a real pro! Looking forward to the next one, mate!

Blimey.

Great stuff guys.

Another one of those songs which I don't recognise at all from the title / artist, yet is instantly recognisable when the music starts.

Dudes...I am so loving these guitar trade off tunes. This is just outstanding my friends. You both have such recognizable styles of playing and the compliment each other so feckin well. Brilliant stuff here.
Rock on!

Just love how your playing compliments each other, but kudos for those wacky drum fills.

Great work. This is a really good cover - love how you've gone heavier than the original. In fact, it's a lot better than the original!
