The acoustic project I have been working on was largely inspired by the music of The Band, especially The Basement Tapes with Bob Dylan. I wanted to capture the loose, acoustic spirit of those early demos, like a back porch jam. So far I have been adapting songs and stripping them down with acoustic instruments, so this is probably the most straight forward adaptation I have done thus far. I based this largely on The Band's performance from Bob Dylan's 30th Anniversary concert, one of my favorite all-star shows.

It's also the first time I've ever recorded accordion. My grandfather was an accordion teacher and player, so it was pretty special using one of his old student accordions on one of my favorite accordion songs.

This is just excellent!!! You really capture that "back porch" vibe you were aiming for. The instrumentation is absolutely spot on & the recording & production is utterly pro. Bravo, mate!
