This song has been in the making for a week or two. bodie and Harry got together, just guitars and drums and sent to me, i added a lyric and vocal, then Bodie added lead guitar, i then added some Juno Di, expect another mix by Dave as this is a rough mix by me. but my inner puppy got the better of me so ............... ;D ;D
my bones are stiff my clothes are tired
i've had them for a long long time
my drivers licence has expired
but i'm still sleeping in my car
well I don't know which way the wind blows
and maybe I don't even care
when I was young I had so many dreams
but now i'm old they have all gone
i reached right up to hold the highest branch
was not afraid that I might fall
well I don't know which way the wind blows
and maybe I don't even care
i only know the things that I know
and i've still got much more to learn
I do believe i've had a good life
it's had it's ups it's had it's downs
they say that life is what you make it
well they can say what the hell they like
cos I don't know which way the wind blows
and maybe I don't even care
i only know the things that I know
and i've still got much more to learn

Beautifully done. Love the lyric, but I hope you aren't really sleeping in your car!

A very gentle and moving song.

So often, collabs can be frustrating and sound like they are odd parts glued together. Not the case here. I really liked this one and thought it was very cohesive. The guitar tones and arrangement was a nice mix from melancholy to clearing skies. The icing for me was definitely the wonderful lyrics which you delivered very well James. You certainly have a gift for writing them. This paints a great little existential picture of a man at a space in time. Cool. Great coolab gents!

The sound jumps out at you immediately, and the whole thing sounds so live. A very nice collab - and nice lyrics.

Excellent work! As others have already mentioned... the lyrics are really special on this. They sit beautifully in the melodic, bittersweet music. Congratulations on a masterpiece, chaps!
