Swirly and swooshy.  Definitely late 60's but also unmistakeably Green.

I'm loving the Greeny Monday reprise, maybe even more because I know it can be whipped away at any minute.  He giveth and he taketh away.

Nice ending, too, btw.

Listed to this the other day while driving, came back for a closer listen. That bass line is pretty badass & I particularly like that "round and round.." Vocal part. Cool tune.
Rock on!

Great post Greeny, it sounds like a tribute to D Bowie. The mix is just perfect, what a song !

Had to download this to get it to play, and I'm glad I did... It's immense! You capture that late-60s psychedelia vibe so well. Love the tone you're getting from that strat. Excellent catchy slice of retro pop. Bravo!

I was thinking the same thing...lyrically and with some of the vocal phrasing. Boy, that bass had some reckless abandon.

Haven't heard a tune of yours for quite awhile...but i see you are still keeping the bar very high!

Really love the imagery generated by the lyrics:

like a sad and silent clown
i'm all out of mime
let me lay in your arms
my partner in crime

Excellent!

The whole vibe of this brings to mind the Beatles and a bit Bowie..but all Greeny. Great work on instrumentation (loved the prominent bass) and vocals. Your songs are always a treat Tim. Well done.
