Another one for the 50s rock n roll fest. Tommy suggested this one & I was all over it like a rash! I've mentioned those cut-price 1970s cover version albums before that we used to get in the UK... well this song was on one of those that I had back then. It was all old 50s songs (played by anonymous session guys) like "At The Hop"... "Sixteen Tons"... "It's Only Make Believe"... and this one, which was always a favourite on the old Dansette record player when I was 10  :)

I used my tele & all the other usual suspects. The piano is a free VST called 4Front Piano which can be downloaded here if anyone fancies it: http://www.yohng.com/software/piano.html

Not sure which guitar Tommy used, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was one of his strats.

Thanks to Tommy for doing such a great job on this :)

Yes I'm sure I remember this from the 70s (probably the same sound-a-likey cassettes) - this is just fabulous!

Love this to death. I was waiting to see what would happen solo wise, and I was overjoyed. I got three killer breaks. Add those to the stellar singing and smart production, and I have a downloaded cut.

I spoke too soon. Now, I'm getting outro solos as well.

Loved this.

Brilliant swing, swagger and attitude. What a cover! Love the reverb on the production - it makes it sound like a bar room jam. Fantastic guitars, and Tommy's vocal is perfect.
