Here's my version of the Ray Charles tune Leave My Woman Alone.
I quite like how this turned out, particularly the guitar/harp solo at about the 2.20 mark.

If you make it through to the end, the reference to the moon is when we were recording the harp in in the car. It was just getting dark and a massive yellow full moon started coming up on the horizon. It was a freakish thing to watch as it moved slowly up into the sky and it took just about all of my restraint not to interrupt the track and point it out.
I couldn't help blurting it out at the end of the song.

Great post all the way around but that guitar solo is what grabbed me the most. Loving that clean tone, and there's a cool part where the guitar is repeating a sort of pedal steel lick and the final time, the harp mirrors it. Ooh, loved it.

Great ending.

Question: did you migrate from Hittintheweb?

Thanks for that Blooby, I recorded that lead part after we layed down the harp so I could take a few runs at mirroring some of his parts. I quite like how it turned out.

Answer to your question is no, I don't know or have any affiliation with hittingtheweb.

Dig your style, Captain, it's all your own and it's solid on everything I've heard. This one is great, really made the song your own.
