What a great cover. That "dreamy" slide part was just perfect, the singing is just gobsmackingly stunning, the guitar work is phenomenal, and the production makes me want to go back to the drawing board.

I am fascinated by the opening tone of the outro solo (who this be?). Save for reverb and delay, it sounds straight, but that guitar pops out notes almost like there's an envelope filter/auto-wah. man, those notes bloom in such a cool way.

John and I play a new tune at each gig, and ironically, this was our tune last night (albeit stark, acoustic, and now, assuredly depressing).

Dudes, SuperGroup!!!!!!! I've been in and heard so many bands do this over the years I've been putting off listening but what an amazing job. The trade off solos are really stellar in every way, I so love a good trade off, and your vocals are outstanding as always Kenny.
Rock on my brothers!!

The movie made a big impact on me when it came out so I was very reluctant pressing play on this one. But I should have known better. You guys rule!

Thanks LG ,had forgotten about this.
We did many a collab Johnny and I and I can remember some being challenging as Johnny is a superb player.
The waiting for an alibi by thin lizzy springs to mind as we played dual guitar and I didn't want to let him down lol.
He kept me on my toes and probably  improved my playing by pushing me.
Again something else to thank this great site for.
Johnny is now very busy with his popular you tube channel.

Fantastic bump !  Great to be reminded of this again. I'm a regular viewer of Johnny Robbo's YouTube channel and an admirer of Kenny's playing, so much so that I can tell which parts Johnny plays and which parts Kenny plays. Kenny is the King of the pinched harmonic on SC and Johnny's legato is instantly recognisable to me. Going back for my third listen tonight !

Verywel done guys. Luckily Jean Pierre gave me the opportunity to sing this song in our collab. So I hapily sang along with your version.
I do have an electric bass and guitar, i do have an acoustic guitar. I even have a keyboard and a Roland drum set What I seem to miss is skills. So to cure my at least 40y frustration I dicovered my instrument being my voice. So I finaly had the nerve to take singing lessons and make my voice heared thanks to Songcrafters.
