i did a live demo of the this last night in order not to forget it https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=25242.0

today i got out my br800, juno di, epiphone bass and jasmine electro-acoustic and spent a bit more time on it. had to shrink to 160kbps to fit. mixed on headphones so will probably be remixed on monitors at some point. this is this.

Did the sun ever shine on our black and white world
did the rain ever fall when we slept
I can only remember the puddles
in my wellington boots
was lights out not long after eight o'clock
but i've got batteries in my torch
I'll keep them for transistor radio
until they run out
do you remember the fun we had
do you remember it wasn't so bad
the ice formed inside the window
coats thrown on the bed to keep us warm
whose turn is it to get up early
to light the fire
well we didn't have much to do
and we never had time to get bored
you could read a book or stare at the ceiling
and will the rain to stop
do you remember the fun we had
do you remember it wasn't so bad
when olives where just for martinis
and ladies drank babycham
and the height of sophistication
was a pineapple ring on your spam
do you remember the

Very nice craftsmanship here. I like the music and your vocal.
Perhaps you could remix it and bring the vocal up so it stands out in the mix.

Other than that, BRAW!

I enjoyed this a lot. The meandering bass spoke to me, and your vocals are always a pleasure (you bastard!).

Cool how dry the voice was here. Are you getting away from the delays for now?

yeah mix not great,
tho rather than remix it, i think i'm gonna redo it at a faster tempo,
try a few things to spice it up a bit, sounds a bit pedestrian compared to what i imagined.

The lyrics for this really spoke to me, brought to mind my childhood, too many truths here :-) Great tune, really enjoyed this. Damn, I still love listening to the radio in bed.
