So when I bought the Hammered Dulcimer, the same guy had a Bowed Psaltery and I couldn't pass it up.
I've been sitting on it for a while but I got it out last week to use for work and have really enjoyed playing it. I wrote this melody and recorded it late last night in the car (Taxi Dad) and added the vocal part, both using the built in mics. This morning I added 2 Sunriser Synth (Ipad app) parts.
Keep The Flowers
written & performed by Hook
Keep the flowers
I don't want them

Beauty is such a waste of time

The silly things
of this worthless spring
Is where I draw the line

Mother Nature's Recipe
perhaps its father times

keep the flowers
I don't want them
but don't you dare take the wine

Because the Hook brings you back
I ain't tellin' you no lie
The hook brings you back
On that you can rely

Brother - you are a monster :-) I never knew that so many instruments existed. This has got a mad sound, I listened earlier - it sounds like a reverse echo, or something like that. It's really a extra-ordinary sound. Love it and the esoteric nature of this track. Super cool.
Bow on brother.

Extraordinary sounds!!!
Very strange with the effects, I love it!!!
You use some exotic modes or keys, it gives a unique taste to your song, a bit like  some experimental songs of David Bowie

Hook, you are a trip. Your music is often as unique as your appearance.

Really cool looking instrument with an interesting sound, one which you will no doubt be exploring for years to come.

The lyrics in here are really dark, cynical, and creepy...and go well with those other-worldly synths and those spooky whatever they are rain drop sounds.

It's hard to sound like a deranged madman but by gosh, you've done it!  ;D

This is so far out of the box, the box is a speck on the horizon  :o
