I was watching something on TV last night. There was a man telling a story of how a seven year old died in his arms. The boy drowned and was unable to be revived...It was an intense story..Anyway, thats what inspired this song...

Satchwood

How sad - very touching song!  Living in Phoenix Arizona I hear about backyard swimming pool drownings happening way too much.  You've captured the emotion well...

Every parent that has young kids, that live near water needs to listen to this song, man - especially out here in Phoenix.

This song would definitely wrap up a "safety around water" TV program very very well!

It's a sad song, but you play it well. Very original and well thought out.

Great work,

Tom, this is a really great song. Sad story that you tell with emotion. And I think this is your best productionwise. Well played and your lovely voice comes much better through than your previous posts!!!!!

Oh well ........

This was really uncomfortable for me to listen to because you captured the emotion of the subject matter so well in your Piece.

Don't get me wrong, It was a brilliant production......

It's just I have a kid....... The haunting possibility of what could be proved too much and freaked me out quite a bit..........

Had I not read the synopsis, I still would have said the piece would have invoked some very difficult emotions.

You are a serious talent TomH86.

The evocative nature of your pieces is always evident.

This gives me the shivers. There's something vulnerable and plaintive in your vocal that fits the theme and mood like a glove. Another cracking song - looks like your inspiration is firing on all cylinders again  :)
