Thanks, Blooby, yeah me too. Next year for sure - after my phone died I periodically shouted "Blooby" or "Bruce" at the 'Shroom stage just in case and received some fun looks from people in hammocks.

Here's an image to what BrettBob is referencing.  My favorite weekend of the year.

Mine too, Blooby! Damn, we must have walked right past each other probably a zillion times.

Unfortunately, SoundCloud doesn't offer a way to access the mp3 directly, so we can't add it to our festival jukebox linked only from SoundCloud, as it is. Can you please please attach an mp3 of the song to your post? Once we have an mp3, it can be added to the festival jukebox.

Thanks,
cuthbert

thanks, Cuthbert, I tried to attach the file earlier, but it kept timing out. Wouldn't work. No biggie.

I'm sorry to hear that, BrettBob. I suspect that may be happening because the mp3 file is too large? We currently limit uploads to a bit more than 7 MB (7341 KB). Not sure how much you want to compress the song to make it small enough to post and yet still remain listenable. Of course you can always keep the SoundCloud version on this post for best quality.

Another possible alternative is to post the mp3 someplace which provides a direct link to the mp3, such as alonetone.com. Direct-linked mp3 files can easily be added to a festival jukebox.

That was great... some undertaking, but well worth it. The sounds you are getting out of the guitar are superb.

Everybody talks about "Bitches Brew" being Miles' definitive fusion album, but I rank "In A Silent Way" higher, to be honest... there's more melody & soul in this album. You do an absolutely stunning version of this... I would never have imagined an arrangement like this. Inspired!

Stumbled on this again on your Soundcloud page and felt compelled to leave another comment. This is super good. Really capture the emotion of the original.
