This one took ages. Mainly because it was hard to get everything in sync.

Basically I started looking at the latest version of GarageBand on my Mac to see what was in it. So i started putting a drum beat together (no loops), trying to get something not just a straightforward 4/4 beat if poss.

Then I put some Keys, done in Midi in garageband, one panned left one right.

Then stuck a rhythm Guitar part on top of the whole lot with my Mex Strat on a setting from GarageBand (cant remember which one, but a cleanish one with a little reverb, delay).

The came the fun part... thought it would be easier than it was...

I tried playing a melody on top of the whole lot, but was a B*****d trying to play in time to what i had done. The beat seemed to come in at funny places to where my fingers wanted to play... Will stick to simpler drum patterns for a while ;D ;D

Got there eventually!

Fine job, Mike!!

Loved the drum track from the first hits - they sounded like real ones!

And the guitar...top class playing with some cool improvisation!

You have put several genres well together! This is instrumental music at its best, imo!

Absolutely love this, Mike! The drum tracks work well and the guitar parts are well up there.  I'm rather partial to an instrumental piece and this is a particularly fine one.

I will listen again later.

Reallly impressive stuff.

See what you mean about the drum track... just tried counting it out & gave myself a headache! You pulled it off, though. Excellent composition, played superbly. Shades of prog rock, I reckon :)

Really nice work here, the off beats make it interesting to hear, and you really put it all together well. Very cool.

I've no idea what the time signature is on this, but it sounds cool, and hangs together perfectly - well done.

Wow  Mike, This is an amazing sonic adventure. Who knows what time signature that is but whatever it is it makes for an exciting edgy vibe which is a joy to hear. Love the keyboards and the guitar tone is perfect ......good work Mike.
