"Where My Soul Is Sent To Dwell" a Hook original for JazzFest

[Hook]

Been working on this the last 3 days. Wrote and recorded the main uke/vocal track with  my new Resonator Uke. The bass part is me singing. I used  the drumjam app for the drums and did each part separate, live using the pads. The marimba & tenor sax are thumbjam.

Tomorrow's just a moment
that is often hard to find
if I can't find the moment
Then I often hide behind
All the moments we've created
& the moments yet to come
all these fleeting passing moments
that all seem so cumbersome

And if my brain implodes
would anybody know
would a catatonic me
the perceived any differently
would the Consciousness that is me
Be missed remembered or grieved
and I hope to be relieved
where my soul is sent to dwell

Maybe I'll see
all the generations that came before me
and maybe I'll know
all the answers that I sought
And maybe I'll be
Free of all this inner dialogue
that torments me
Holding me down

Nice instrumentation and fine job with each of them! The lead guitar is very captivating!

You have some imagination. This is very well put together, I wouldn't know where to start to try to do something like this. It is a glorious concoction of sounds... i don't know how, but it works!!!!

I don't use quotes very often, but this one was a hoot! This is a very unusual composition Hook. You get an A+ for originality.
