I posted an instrumental version of this a while back, suggesting that there could be a vocal version in the pipeline. There sort of was, although it was very different to how this turned out.

The lyrics were essentially inspired by a comment that SE made in that post. Now that I've just turned 50 (actually 51) I'm increasingly annoyed about being branded as an 'over fifties' person. This is now a rant about that.

This is brilliant! I certainly get your annoyance which comes through brilliantly in the lyrics & vocal delivery. It puts me in mind, a little of early P.I.L. Brilliant stuff!

Yes agreed, very cool, creative and the lyric is right on the mark! Just wait until another 10 years pass and you start being pre-judged by 50 year olds, lol!
