I have a hard time believing that this isn't the original! And I know better! This is dead on! Maybe, it's even better than the original!

Superaltives are quite worthless when you are presented with work of this quality. Most language is over used these days - Awesome, Brilliant, Stunning, Amazing, and when something truly outstanding comes along, all the words that could have been used to add colour and depth to the things that you want to say have been wasted.

I have listened to this over and over. It's near perfect. My only criticism is that the vocal is too low in the mix. If this was fixed, this track would be perfect.

I really appreciated what goes into something of this quality, both in the playing and singing and in the production of the track. It is something that we all should strive for.

I have nothing else to say.

I often find myself in the same predicament. Well put. I guess it's the thought that counts, er something. I guess in this case, the word "speechless" comes to mind too.

Kody, you remember "Days of the New"? I hear Shelf in the Room somewhere down the road. I can hear it now. You'd do this one perfect.

i had just recorded a version of "Ride On" ...2 acoustic tracks...1 bass track and a track from the Korg to send to Andrew so he could add that great voice of his.when i listened to it on the PC there was some background hiss but it was ok. then i read this comment from Flash. i deleted the file and started again from scratch. now there is no hiss and i think i made a better go all round this time.i have sent it to AC feeling i have done a much better job of things.
Many Thanks Mike F
i think this is the longest thing i have ever typed.

QuoteKody, you remember "Days of the New"? They about KO'd themselves when the singer became self-afflicted with a plethora of addictions. They should hire you. I hear Shelf in the Room somewhere down the road.

MBrew....about 5 or so years ago some friends of mine and I recorded a cover of that song and entered it into Days of the New cover contest!  We never heard anything back. That was in my bad days....I remember being way more interested in the 40oz. I was drinking than the vocal track I was recording...We also covered Touch Peel and Stand pretty darn good when we played live....I've been a Days of the New fan since they cut their first album....Travis Meeks is one talented mo fo....I was just taliking to my friend about redoing that song though....he lives a ways away with no way of recording, but I'd love to get it done some how...Thanks for the vote of confidence!!

How did I miss this?

Just fantastic...and I have the added bonus of not having to watch Kenny Wayne Shepherd toss his blocks locks back every time he hits a high note.

Fantastic.
