 ;D ;D ;D ;D
This came into my mind today while I was getting my lunch ready -my  late mother's Irish stew- it was great stuff-
you could brave any weather or obstacle after a plateful ;D ;D ;D ;D
So a bit of nonsense---

Me Mother's Irish stew.
Well I've been around this world
I've seen many wondrous things
I've tasted the food of lords and the wines of kings
But I'm telling you boys and it's very true.
None of that compares to my Mother's Irish stew.

Ah me mother's Irish stew boys
me mother's Irish stew
It would put lead in your pencil
boy I'm telling you
Full of goodness and protein
I'm telling you it's true
Nothing can compare to my mother's Irish stew.

Then I met the girl I loved and we planned to get wed
We saved hard for a home and our wedding bed
Every Sunday evening Mary'd say yuh hoo
Come on lets go down to your mothers
For a bowl of Irish stew.

Well we got married soon had little children at our knees
Every so often Mary would smile and she'd look at me
Roll on next Sunday and I'll what we'll do
We'll go down to your mother's
for a bowl of Irish stew. ;D

This deserves to be heard by loads of folk in Irish Pubs (or any pub for that matter) having a knees up. Its has to be a winner. Puts a smile a on your face. Well done Tommy.

Tommy, you are one in million..

This is absolute "classic" fenderbender is every way

Mike is right..this would be a smash in Irish pubs eh?

Your vox are so easy goin'..and altho it may be a lighthearted song, it's still smack full of some really fine guitar playing. I like your style and how you always throw in bits of chords to your leads. To me, that's a sign of a real guitar player. Needless to say, i can't seem to do that.

I think perhaps you were raised in Tennessee and then moved to Ireland  ;)
