Those are great photos Johnny. You have my full support on any childhood haircut issues. I am still getting flashbacks to my primary school haircut. I will see if i can dig out one of me!

By the way the pic of your old teacher was just as i had imagined from your description... uncanny!!

I saw camel a few times back in the late 70's. It was after the late, great  Peter Bardens had left them. I love the Rain Dances album.
Keep up the good work

Mate,

This is absolutely beautiful.
Great arrangement, and production wise everything sounds smooth, natural and quite live. Nothing is over cooked and man, that guitar tone on the LP is bloody magic. As too is the slide part on your tele, for a second there I thought it was an alto sax.

Great job all round.

Also, I really dig the pics of the music teacher. It's amazing the lasting influence a good teacher can have on you throughout your life. I've been so lucky to have a few whose guidance and wisdom have stuck with me to this day. It's such a pity they get paid fuck all and are generally treated pretty lowly by governmental departments. But, that's an argument for another thread I suppose.

Anyway, great recording Robbo, and a very worthwile bump Alex.
Warmest regards,

Captain Jimbo

The pictures are charming and touching

Thank you John
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Thanks JP... no, it's not tapping. It's basically the same lick as I show in this video (albeit in a different key).
